Spring Break in Wilmington...Part Two (Instagram edition)

Along with being complete stalkers all week, we did manage to find time to do a few other things. Here's a collection of all the photos I managed to take with my phone over the course of the week...

^
The first thing we saw upon checking into our hotel room. God is wonderful :)

^
All dressed and ready to go out for the night

^
Being silly in Target..."airy potta" anyone? haha

^
Lunch at Fat Tony's

^
Passing by the "One Tree Hill" rivercourt again

^
Night out at "Front Street Brewery"...we decided to treat ourselves to some drinks

^
Kahly enjoying her raspberry lemonade cocktail

^
Chillin on the rooftop at "Level 5"

^
Dawson Leery's house on "Dawson's Creek"...ohhh the lengths we went through just to get to this one :)

^
Jamie Sullivan's house in "A Walk to Remember"

^
Playing foosball and ski ball at "Blue Post Billiards". A special thanks goes out to my brother for this night :)

^
Fondue for two! It was ladies night at "The Little Dipper". The food was amazing, but the waiter was a total creeper, so we left him a friendly note with a fake number to call (and yes, we did feel slightly guilty afterwards haha).

^
We decided to stay an extra day just so we could enjoy some time at the beach

...And take basically the exact same picture of ourselves :)

^
Walking around downtown at midnight, while blaring Gavin Degraw's "I Don't Wanna Be"(One Tree Hill theme song) = good times

^
Showing off our "Naley" bracelets while sitting at their bench one last time

^
Our farewell ceremony. We got the flower at dinner and decided to  go toss it in the water in remembrance of our week.

Spring Break in Wilmington...Part One

Since we've been slacking off on the whole blogging thing lately, we figured it was about time to give you guys an update. Last week, we had the opportunity to get out of town for a couple of days and we chose to go to none other than my (Lauren) favorite city in North Carolina: Wilmington! It was Kahly's first time visiting, but from what I've gathered, it won't be her last! Most of our trip was spent tracking down all of the filming locations for one our favorite television series, "One Tree Hill". The show wrapped up filming last year, but most of the places that were used remain in the city. Unfortunately, some of the more popular spots have since been removed, but it was still fun getting to explore the different areas. Most of you have seen the photos on Facebook already, but I figured I'd share a few more.

Day 1: The Bridge (seen in the opening credits of the first few seasons, as well as a few of the later episodes).

^
It was such a windy day. The picture above was just a random "oh i'm gonna take a picture, but don't actually expect it to turn out well" photo, but we felt the expressions on our faces pretty much summed up how we were feeling at that point.

Day 2: Clothes Over Bro's, Naley's Table, Tree Hill High, Peyton's House, Brooke's House, Lucas's House

^
What used to be "Clothes Over Bro's"

^
Table where Nathan and Haley have their first date

^
Location used as the backdrop for Tree Hill High (actually part of Cape Fear Community College)

^
Peyton's House

^
Brooke's House

^
Lucas's House...and the door to his bedroom (at least on the show)

Day 3: The Rivercourt (basketball court used repeatedly throughout each season)

^
Or a least where it used to be....Unfortunately, as soon as filming wrapped, the court was removed. Now all that remains is a large, dry patch of grass and our remorse for the deserted area we once knew as the rivercourt.

Along with all of these locations, we found several others, but didn't have a chance to photograph them. We were also on the hunt for actual celebrities (Wilmington's known for them), but no such luck in that category either. Regardless, getting to stalk down one of your favorite tv shows with your best friend, who loves it just as much as you do, doesn't happen everyday, so i'm completely content, and enjoyed everything we ended up getting to see :)

...Keep an eye out for Part Two

hello world...

...and so begins our first endeavor into the blogging world! we've both had hopes of starting our own blogs for a while now, so upon suggestion, we decided to collaborate and artsy harmonies was born. we're so much alike in so many ways, it's no wonder people mistake us for sisters on a regular basis. so, who's the "we" you ask? well, for those of you who don't already know us....

I'm Kahly. Gods love, grace, forgiveness and hands are holding me together daily. I'm still trying to find myself in this world but I am simply trusting in God, as He leads me in the direction I need to go. Art inspires me and allows me to escape from everything in my mind and create something beautiful. Some of my favorite things include: best friend days, mission trips, family, worship, sunshine, fashion, sand between my toes and love.

I'm Lauren. I love Jesus Christ first and foremost, and my faith plays a huge part in my life.  I love art (obviously), particularly photography, and I find almost every aspect fascinating. Some of my favorite things include: daisies, traveling, autumn, the color yellow, love, coffee shops, acoustic melodies, and best friend days of course.

We hope to blog as often as possible, whether together or individually. We'll be blogging about our lives, our own art, and some of the things that inspire us. So, if you feel compelled to read, we hope you enjoy :)
